1966. A Douglas A-1 Skyraider raids with white phosphorus. White phosphorus is a common allotrope of the chemical element phosphorus which has had an extensive military use as an incendiary agent, an agent to create smoke screens and as a component flamboyant anti-personnel able to cause severe burns. It is considered as a chemical weapon by many people and organizations. In military jargon referred him as "WP" (White phosphorus); and during the Viet Nam War had as alias "Willy Pete" or "Willy Peter".
