This ground instructional air frame was tipped on its tail at Sheppard AFB. The bird was stripped of all its ballast and avionics up front and her landing gear struts were all shot to hell making her tail heavy anyway. She was originally a early test model for the M-61 20mm gun and still had the original prototype F-100 engines with the turkey feathers on the burner cans and blue and orange test paint scheme underneath.
